VK.45.02(P)V

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a German WWII heavy tank design by Porsche, VK.45.02(P)V, that never was completed. A family of five different designs belongs to the VK.45.02(P) project, which initially competed with the Henschell Tiger II design, and lost. The turrets for the first design, build by Krupp, were issued to Tiger II tanks, which sometimes are referred (wrongly) as Tiger II with Porsche turret, in fact they were Krupp turrets. The kit depicts one of the designs of the series.

The brand states that one of the prototypes was completed and saw action but we can’t confirm such affirmation and haven’t found any evidence that any of the VK.45.02(P) designs were completed other that wooden mock-ups and the turrets manufactured by Krupp.
