GPF Armata Polowa 155mm – K 418(f)

Despite of being a gun designed during WWI, France had around 450 of them in service at the start of the WWII in 1940. Many of them were later captured and used by Germany, who redesignated them as K 418(f) (For the single axe carriage as this kit) or K 419(f) for the double axe carriage as RPM – 72602 – GPFT 155mm M1918 Armata Polowa – K419(f) kit.

Kit is well detailed and has many small and delicate parts making built process more complicated. Lack of pattern on tyres.

Box contains mixed decals markings for both WWI and WWII and includes one marking for a battery in Normandy 1944, in Pointe Du-Hoc, where six of these guns were placed by Germans in a coastal defense role.
