Stridsvagn M/39 Swedish Light Tank

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a Swedish WW2 era, Stridsvagn M/39 tank, from the  Landsverk L-60 series, started develop in mid 30s, supplying also Hungarian army, builds under license, and known as Toldi with several variants. The original design from 1934, had quite advanced features as torsion bar suspension, periscopes and an all-welded construction. Its main armament was a 20mm automatic gun (Madsen 20 mm cannon) and a Madsen also 7,92mm machine gun.

M/39 variant, also known as L-60 S/II, was delivered to Swedish army in 1940, around 20 units were built. Kit includes photo etched detail parts and decal sheet includes generic Swedish numerals plush an specific marking “Pueblo”, for the Dominican Civil War in 1965. *All the IBG Landsverk L-60 kits serie share almost all parts and decals.
