Type 94 Japanese Tankette

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a Japanese WWII Type 94 tankette.

Produced during mid 30s, the type, just armed with a 6.5mm Type 91 machine gun, saw action in all the conflicts that Japan was involved during that time, included WWII. Intended mainly as reconnaissance role, several modified variants were used for other lot of auxiliar roles. They have an important and successful role in the China campaign, as well as in the early Japanese conquests at the start of WWII. Over 800 units were produced from 1935 to 1937 and remained in service till the end of the war, despite of being obsolete to face the U.S. troops.

Kit includes a small PE (photo-etched) detail parts.
