IBG Models – 72127 – Semovente M40 da 75/18

Description:

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of an Italian WWII self-propelled gun Semovente da 75/18 which was built over a variety of (similar) chassis such M13/40, M14/41 or M15/42 Italian tanks. As IBG Models already released the M13/40 reuses here the lower chassis, suspension, tracks and wheels to release the Semovente M40 da 75/18, fitted with a 75 mm Obice da 75/18 modello 34 mountain gun in a fixed casemate, same style than German StuG self-propelled guns. Only 60 units were built using this chassis, main production used the M14/41. Semovente da 75/18 proved to be a well performing vehicle for the close support and anti-tank role.
