MiniArt – 72103 – StuG III Ausf. G Feb 1943 Prod with Winter Tracks

Variation in the series of StuG III by MiniArt by adding new tracks, winter tracks (Winterketten), issued from 1942, and basically consisting in just wider tracks to create more surface of contact, usually a normal track with track extensions that protruded from the external side of the tracks and triangle shaped. This kind of tracks were widely used in the Panzer III and Panzer IV series, and so, in all the derived vehicles from both chassis (or from the Panzer III/IV chassis) like the StuG III.

For those familiar with the family of StuG III by MiniArt kit needs little more presentation. Is a well detailed kit, with a high number of parts, suitable for average and skilled modelers. Include link-and-length type tracks and a small PE set for bit extra detail.

In this release, decal sheet include 4 new markings focused in Sturmgeschütz abteilung (Assault Gun Brigade) 270 and 189, with two markings for each, during the spring of 1943 in the Eastern Front.
