Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a German WWII assault gun StuG III Ausf.G.

Ninth release in the MiniArt‘s StuG III series, featuring a late production model by MÜHLENBAU-INDUSTRIE AG (MIAG).

The kit is very well detailed and the series is exhaustive covering many sub-variants and differences between the different manufacturers who produced the StuG III during the war. Tracks are of the link-and-length type and hull and chassis are in several parts, allowing the versioning between different armor plates, frontal armor and others. Despite of this excellent tooling aimed to the most exigent modelers, the brand decided to simplify some of the pioneer tools, molded in the fenders or other plates of the model, which is an odd for us.

The kit, and in general, all the series of StuG III by MiniArt, is the best StuG III you can build in 1/72 scale, but it’s not aimed for beginners, who will feel the kit is over engineered.
