Panzer IV/70(A) Sd.Kfz.162/1

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a German WWII anti tank Jagdpanzer IV, mounting a fixed upper structure over a Panzer IV tank chassis. The IV/70 designation stands for those which mounted the Pak 42 L/70 gun, while the A stands for Alkett manufacturer, which produced this variant from August 1944 to March 1945, with around 280 units built. To simplify production this variant was mounted over a standard Pz.IV chassis without modification, resulting in a taller anti tank (around 40cm) without the distinctive sharp edged nose and silhouette of the original design.

Kit consists of 4 plastic sprues (not all the parts are for this kit since shares sprue with other releases by he brand) and tracks are in the link-and-length format. Kit includes large PE parts for side skirts (which are optional) plus another sheet of PE parts for detail. Includes decal sheet with two markings.
