UM (UniModel) – 567 – Raketenwerfer auf Fahrgestell Pz.Kpfw. IV

Description:

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a German WWII rocket-launcher mounted over a Panzer IV chassis, a prototype with very little information about it.

The project mounted four 28cm rocket launchers in the rear of a new tooled turret that had two differentiated parts, the front with a box like crew turret and a machine gun ball-mounted in the front, and the rear, with an enclosed launched with the 4 rockets, fitted with an hydraulic system to put the launchers in position. The turret was at least partially rotary though probably capable of the 360º rotation.

Kit reuses chassis and hull from previous Panzer IV released by UM in the past, which include always link-and-length tracks type. Decal sheet include one single marking.
