Multiple Launch Rocket System

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a Soviet/Russian BM-27 Uragan multiple rocket launcher, introduced in the late 70s to deliver cluster munitions. It uses 16 x 220mm launch tubes, mounted in a ZIL-135 8×8 chassis very similar to the FROG-7 system.

Remains in service in several countries, mostly the ex-Soviet republics and other countries in the Soviet/Russian sphere of influence such Iran or Angola.

Uses same chassis and cab than kit Trumpeter – 07179 – Russian 9P113 TEL w/9M21 Rocket of 9K52 Luna-M Short-range artillery rocket system (FROG-7) with new parts for the rocket launchers. Includes rubber tires and decal sheet contains markings for six different vehicles.
