Description:

7YW Prussian Command

Unpainted plastic soldiers in 1/72 scale depicting Prussian Infantry during the Seven Years War (1756–1763).

Box contains 24 Figures in 6 poses, one of them, a mounted officer. The set split poses into two musicians, drummer and fifer, one standard bearer, one NCO (non-commissioned officer) and two officers, one mounted and one on foot.

Figures are well done, accurate and nicely sculpted, though cast in a quite soft plastic, hard to glue, in a set where there are lot of options to glue as you can see in the sprue images. There several caps options, grenadiers, hats and fusiliers as well as separate arms and drum is in two parts too, cyanoacrylate is your best option and is not a good option.

We would have prefer one of this sprue in each of the infantry sets, the amount of “special” figures you get in this set is too high, 8 officers, 8 musicians, 4 standard bearers and 4 NCOs. Unless you are raising a big army you may want to share this kit with friends.

Purists will kill us, but figures from this range can be used during the American Revolutionary War as Hessians.
