Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a British Morris C8 artillery tractor, the prime mover for the 25 Pdr. gun or the 17 Pdr. anti-tank gun.

ESCI tooled this kit in 1976, it already existed in 1/76 scale, but in 1/72 scale the ESCI kit only have the competence of the Plastic Soldier Company wargames kit, which is great, but the ESCI one remains as the best detailed yet. The kit keeps and interesting level of detail, only the interior could have been better and few of the smaller details, which the finest hobbyists would want to replace. The kit is also superior in detail to the Airfix 1/76 kit.

A small od of the kit, is it doesn’t provide clear parts for the many windows, this can be done with clear film, but it’s an extra work.

This kit was obviously paired with the ESCI – 8045 – British 25 Pdr Gun and Crew but ESCI never released them together, only in the combo box including infantry soldiers, ESCI – 8614 – Tractor and 25 PDR gun. Italeri was more clever in their reissue and put both kits together as Italeri – 7027 – Morris Quad Tractor with 25 PDR. Gun.
