1/72 scale unpainted soldiers depicting Mounted Knights during the first half of 16th century.

The 16th Century was the summit of the armor art, and soon, also was the century of their decadence. Fire arms and pikes gain the battlefield, costs of an armor and train a knight, who can be killed by a shot or repelled by a pike block managed by less expensive and less trained soldiers, change the battlefield for a century and a half. The battle of Pavia in 1525, was the end of the medieval knights.

The box contain 12 mounted figures in 12 poses and 6 horse poses, with nice and hard to paint intricate armor designs.

The pictures below belong to our collection, sadly the orange color chose for the plastic in this batch is not something we really like, many different colors have been used to produce this beautiful set for years.

The detail pictures clearly show an amazing love for detail in figures, they can be some rough in some parts, but the kind of the detail they were trying to depict is almost impossible for 1/72 scale and traditional sculpture. The weapons and helmets plumes sprue is very delicate, several of the weapons are very thin but heavily attached to sprue, a very sharp blade is required to detach them, and be very very careful. Horses are also heavily attached to sprue, but that part will be hide once the Knights are mounted. There is a very reasonable choice of weapons, you can chose several options per knight, as well as you can play with the plumes at your choice. The back box picture at the bottom gives you a very good insight of the poses and some combinations achievable, where we must admit we love the mounted crossbowman, though the knights are the main character of the set.

This is a must have set for every collector and period lover.
