In France, the Armée de l’Air’s test flight center, the DGA Essais en Vol, operates a couple of CASA C-212 aircraft. Additionally, some CASA C-212s have been utilized for irregular air traffic purposes.

This model kit includes versions of the CASA C-212 in -100 and -300 variants. It comprises six sprues containing finely detailed styrene parts, including those specific to the French test aircraft. Clear parts are provided on two additional sprues, and some details are featured on a photo-etched fret. The decal sheet offers markings for two test center aircraft, one of which features a distinctive teeth-packed mouth design on its nose. Additionally, markings are provided for a Dash 300 transport aircraft and a Dash 100 aircraft, the latter of which briefly appeared with Soviet-like markings in a James Bond film.
