Kovozávody Prostějov (KP) – KPM0479 – Spitfire HF Mk.VII “Grey camo”

Description:

The Spitfire Mk VII (Type 351) was a high-altitude, pressurized variant designed to counter potential aerial threats at extreme altitudes. It was powered by either the Merlin 64 (F. Mk VII) or Merlin 71 (H.F. Mk VII) engine, both equipped with two-stage, two-speed superchargers for enhanced performance at high elevations. Around 140 HF Mk VII Spitfire were built.

Kit originally comes from an AZ Model tooled in 2012 and updated several times by both brands during this time. The kit include a decal sheet with three British RAF markings, dated 1944 all of them showing pointed wingtips.
