Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a German WWII Focke Wulf Fw 190A-3 fighter aircraft.

The Fw 190A-3 represented a significant step forward in the development of the series, entering service in early 1942 with improved firepower and engine performance. Retaining the powerful BMW 801D-2 engine, this variant benefited from increased durability and an enhanced armament layout, making it even more effective in air superiority and ground attack roles. Its introduction saw the Fw 190 gaining a reputation for outperforming early marks of the Spitfire at low and medium altitudes, prompting the Allies to develop countermeasures. The A-3 also became a major export model, with several units sent to Axis partners like Turkey, expanding its influence beyond the German Luftwaffe.

New tool of 2025, kit consists of 63 plastic parts, shared between all the releases of the series, though not all might be included in all variants. Include a decal sheet with three German markings, two of them dated 1942 located at France (ACE pilots Hans “Assi” Hahn and Detlev Rohwer) and one also dated 1942 but located in the Eastern Front (ACE pilot Oskar Romm).

Kit seems to include parts suitable to build up also Fw 190 A-3/U3 variant, with a center line bomb rack (500KG bomb included) or a 300L fuel tank in the sane position.
