Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a German WWII Focke Wulf Fw 190A-4 fighter aircraft.

The Fw 190A-4 was a refinement of the A-3, maintaining the powerful BMW 801D-2 engine but introducing key modifications for better operational flexibility. This variant featured an upgraded radio system and provisions for additional external fuel tanks or bombs, expanding its capabilities beyond air combat. The A-4 also introduced improved engine cooling and minor structural reinforcements, enhancing reliability in prolonged engagements. Deployed in increasing numbers from late 1942, it played a crucial role in Luftwaffe operations on both the Eastern and Western Fronts, further solidifying the Fw 190’s status as one of the most versatile and feared fighters of the war.

New tool of 2025, kit consists of 63 plastic parts, shared between all the releases of the series, though not all might be included in all variants. Include a decal sheet with three German markings, two of them dated 1943 located at France and one dated 1942 but located in the Eastern Front. Kit seems to include parts for a Fw 190 A-4/U8 variant, but only one external fuel tank is included and a center line bomb rack (500KG bomb included), quite similar to Fw 190 A-3/U3 configuration.
