Description:

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a U.S. Republic F-84F Thunderstreak fighter and fighter-bomber developed during 50s from Republic F-84 Thunderjet.

During the Suez Canal crisis in 1956, French Air Force deployed several of their F-84 as support for the operations. Musketeer operation was conducted by French and British forces to recover the Suez Canal while Kadesh operation was conducted by Israeli forces to recover Sinai Peninsula and France added some aircrafts to strengthen Israeli forces. The F-84s deployed to support Israeli forces wore the Magen David star instead of the French Air Forces symbol, as well as overpainted French flag in the tail.

Kit includes a decal sheet with 3 markings, 2 of them for aircrafts used in the Operation Musketeer/Kadesh, one wearing the common French symbols and one wearing Israeli ones. The third marking is a French one dated 1957.
