Attack Kits – 72965 – Tatra 57A Army Cabrio Short (Czechoslovak and Slovak Army)

Description:

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a Czechoslovak Tatra 57 compact car, produced since 1932, and updated in 1936 to the improved 57A series. The series continued later with the introduction of the 57B in 1938 and a military 57K (Kübelwagen) introduced in 1941 (under German production). The 57B was produced till 1949, when the manufacturer withdrew from making compact cars.

The Tatra 57A had a conventional open front grille design and a 1,155cc engine, produced with many different bodies, they all shared a common chassis design. Kit offers option to build a Cabrio variant, in militar service of the Tatra 57A.

Kit include PE parts, resin cast parts (wheels) and decal sheet with two markings, an Slovak one during the war and an earlier 1937 Czechoslovak army marking. Model can be build both covered or uncovered (cabrio).
