Dragon – 7707 – M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS)

Description:

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a U.S. M142 HIMARS (High Mobility Artillery Rocket System), a light multiple rocket launcher developed in the late 90s using a six wheeled M1140 truck frame. It can carry either a pod with six Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS) or a single Tactical Missile System (ATACMS) though this kit only offer the six rockets option. The type is also operated outside the U.S. and recently got lot of media attention due its deliver to Ukraine and participation in the Russo-Ukraine conflict started in 2022.

Newly tooled kit in 2023. Includes rubber wheels and decal sheet with two unconfirmed markings. Kit seems to be well engineered and easy to build, but some too much simplified in some areas.
