T-Model – TK7360 – Buffalo 6×6 MPCV A1 Mine Protected Clearance Vehicle

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a U.S. Buffalo six-wheeled mine resistant ambush protected (MRAP) armored vehicle specifically designed for clearance of explosives, equipped with a robotic arm and claw from within the armored hull via a mounted camera and sensory equipment, to safely dispose the explosive devices such mines.

The Buffalo entered service in 2003, mainly with the U.S. Army, but Pakistan and other countries also operate the Buffalo, in particular several countries used it during their deployments to Afghanistan lend leased by the U.S. Forces.

T-Model kit features a highly detailed kit with over 200 parts, including PE (photo-etched) parts and 3D printed wheels. Despite the high number of parts, upper and lower hull are cast in a single piece (each). The brand highlights the possibility of build the crane in several positions as well as the interior detail.

Decal sheet include 4 markings for vehicles deployed in Afghanistan or Iraq, two are U.S. markings, Marine Corps and Airborne, Iraq markings (2006), and two are French markings, one of the users of the Buffalo in Afghanistan, with two markings from Engineers detachments in 2008.

*As bonus the kit offers two U.S. soldiers with backpacks, a feature seen in previous T-Model releases, and suitable for the mid 2000s period and service in both Iraq or Afghanistan.
