Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a Soviet MiG-19 fighter aircraft, introduced in the mid 50s and considered the world’s first mass-produced supersonic aircraft.
Variant P was fitted with RP-1 Izumrud radar in the nose and is armed with two 23mm NR-23 (later upgraded to two 30mm NR-30) cannons mounted in the wings. Each wing has provision for an unguided rocket pack, while enhancements include an elongated tailfin fillet, an all-moving tailplane, and the addition of a third airbrake behind the ventral fin. Capable of carrying Vympel K-13 air-to-air missiles (AAM), this variant entered production in 1955.
Update with a new decal sheet of kit Kovozávody Prostějov (KP) – KPM0388 – Shenyang J-6A (Kovozávody Prostějov (KP) – KPM0389 – MiG-19PM “Over Europe”), an update of 2023 with new parts of the previous J-6/MiG-19 released by KP. Decal sheet include Polish, Czechoslovak and Bulgarian markings.
