Type 95 Ha-Go Tank

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a Japanese WWII Type 95 Ha-Go tank.

Designed in the mid 30s, the Type 95 was a light tank which performed well in the Second Sino-Japanese War and in the Soviet-Japanese war in 1939. Produced in around 2300 units was the most numerous tank in the Imperial Japanese Army during WWII. IBG does not provide here information about if it’s an early or late variant, both of them had the 37mm Type 94 gun as main armament, but early variant had 2 Type 91 6.5mm machine guns while the late variants were upgraded to Type 97 7.7mm machine guns, a look to the 3D renders provided by the brand tell us it’s a late type, the most produced one.
