To finish with the Japanese brand for today we added a new Sci-fi topic kit, Hasegawa – CW22 – CRUSHER JOE TR-5 HARPY NORMA.
As a personal thought of all the above list, is very significative about the state of our hobby in 1/72 scale that a very powerful brand like Hasegawa, in a list of 17 kits, the only one really new, is a Sci-fi/Anime topic, while all the rest are re-issues or just new decals (and some new detail part, being totally honest). Japanese market has been always quite particular and different to European or U.S.A. markets, but despite the great effort by Hasegawa keeping their moulds runnings in perfect state, looks like obvious they are not investing in anything 100% new in 1/72 scale unless Anime based topics, and this is not good for any of us.
