Description:

Unpainted plastic soldiers in 1/72 scale depicting ancient Libyan Infantry, part of the Carthaginian Army at the time of the Punic wars against Rome for the control of the west Mediterranean and North Africa.

Box contains 27 figures in 9 different poses, a 3x equal sprue format. Some of the shields are detached, but the attachment in the central part of the shield with a peg in the hand is pretty good. Other pose needs to fit a separate arm, this will need some more work but pose ends good once you achieve the fit, and the same in a figure which has a separate sword.

The troops are composed of six spear poses and three sword poses, there is a mix of shields shapes, helmets and clothes, all looking good. Some of the poses, some of those moulded together with the shield, are bit flat, but those with the separate shield looks pretty good.

Amount of flash is bit high, in particular some of the spears doesn’t looks really straight and good, some modelers may want to replace this. Another thing we miss is the lack of detail in the shields in the inner side, even in those molded separated.
