A-4E Israeli
“Hot Rod”

Variant of kit ESCI – 9003 – A-4F “Aggressor”, in particular of kit ESCI – 9004 – Navy Skyhawk A-4E with a new decal sheet which included one RAAF (Australian) marking and one Israeli marking which gives the title to the set. “Hot Rod” or “Heinemann’s Hot Rod” because Ed Heinemann, Douglas design engineering chief at the time of the A-4 develop, and “Hot Rod” literally race car.
