Academy – 1604 – C-97A Stratofreighter

Description:

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a U.S. Boeing C-97 Stratofreighter, a military cargo aircraft developed during 40s as derived from both B-29 and B-50 bombers. Around 50 units were constructed of the C-97A transport version.

This kit was tooled in the year 2000, and was also the base for the KC-97 kits released later, but since then Academy has not reissued this kit.

The series of kit share parts between them, together with 377 Stratocruiser and B-50 kits. Is considered a good kit though not recommended for beginners.
