Just added last three IBG Models aircraft kits already available on some stores. The brand is issuing this month a new IBG – 72565 – Romanian Barbarossa 1941 Vol. 2: IAR.80 Early & IAR.80A (2 In 1) as main release, with new parts for the IAR 80A variant, but also offering a new limited edition of their FW 190D excellent kit, IBG – 72562 – Fw 190D-14 Prototype (Limited Edition), and a Modelsvit kit with new Polish markings in the kit IBG – 72909 – Su-22UM3K In Polish Air Force, which can be considered a local release for Polish market.
LF Models issue for a second time the “old” AVI Models Klemm Kl 25 releasing LF Models – PE7276 – L 25d I/II General purpose aircraft.
Eduard brings a ProfiPACK edition of their latest Bf 109G-14 kit, Eduard – 70161 – Bf 109G-14 (ProfiPACK).
Revell brings back from the past and old Matchbox kit, originally tooled in 1974, Revell – 03805 – Westland Lynx Mk.88.

Another Revell kit added today, time for Revell – 03792 – Blohm-Voss BV222, a beautiful flying boat, update with new decals of a kit tooled in 2002.
Italeri reissues Italeri – 112 – CANT Z.501, an original 1972 kit updated with a new decal sheet. Also by Italeri, soon to appear Italeri – 1476 – HO4S-3 / HAS.7 / H-19, their version of the Sikorsky H-19 Chickasaw helicopter, one of the most successful designs that paved the way for many future Sikorsky develops.
Two Smer additions to finish the day, both based in old KP (Kopro) models tooled in the 70s. Smer – 950 – Avia CS-199 and Smer – 941 – Avia S-199, cheap but rough kits. There is a third announce by Smer, but we’ll add it tomorrow.

As advanced yesterday, another Smer novelty, Smer – 915 – Jak-23/Yak-23, and again an ex-KP kit from the early 80s.
Clear Prop Models has released a second de Havilland DH.88 Comet, Clear Prop Models – 72051 – DH.88 COMET MacRobertson Trophy Air Race with a second marking for the 1934s MacRobertson Trophy Air Race.

Zvezda is about to release Zvezda – 7327 – Yak-1 Soviet Fighter but deliver is not expected till early next year.
Amodel is releasing a third Embraer EMB 110 kit, Amodel – 72387 – Embraer EMB-110P-2 Bandeirante (Air Ecosse – Royal Mail).
A couple of the latest Hasegawa kits are already available and ready to deliver, focusing in Japanese WWII attack bombers, Hasegawa – 02482 – Mitsubishi G3M2/G3M3 Type 96 Attack Bomber Model 22/23 Miyazaki Air Corps and its successor, Hasegawa – 02481 – Kugisho P1Y1-S/P1Y2 Ginga (Frances) Type 11/Type 16 “Night Fighter”.
Dora Wings has released Dora Wings – DW72039 – Vultee Vengeance Mk.II, similar to Dora Wings – DW72038 – Vultee Vengeance MkI/IA but with a decal sheet focusing in RAAF (Royal Australian Air Force) markings.
Sova-M has a good number of novelties, today we just added another Grumman HU-16 Albatross, a very popular subject of the brand, who adds three new markings releasing Sova-M – 72079 – HU-16B/D.

Arma Hobby is about to release one more Hawker Hurricane, Arma Hobby – 70046 – Hurricane Mk II Reconnaissance (Deluxe Set), fitted with 3D printed parts for conversion to photo-reconnaissance role. By now the set is available as pre-order in their own web store.
Modelsvit adds another Mirage 2000 to their catalogue by releasing Modelsvit – 72074 – Mirage 2000B.
And another Mirage 2000 is added now by DreamModel, DreamModel – 720025 – Dassault Mirage 2000C.

Another Grumman HU-16 Albatross coming by SOVA, Sova-M – 72029 – HU-16B Albatross as well as another Embraer R-99 (EMB-145-RS), originally coming from Amodel molds modified, Sova-M – 72056 – EMB-145RS/P-99. The last coming kit by SOVA-M is Sova-M – 72055 – EMB C-95, a variant of the Embraer EMB 110 Bandeirante a kit developed by Amodel at the start of the year.

Recovered a missed Big Planes Kits release, Big Planes Kits – 7223 – Poseidon P-8A whis AN/APS-154 AAS, a variant of the previous Boeing P-8 Poseidon updated with new parts for the AN/APS–154 and new decal sheet. Another monster kit for the most experienced modelers.

Also added today and also by IBG a trio of vehicles consisting of IBG – 72148 – DAC Mk.I British Armoured Car With Littlejohn Adapter (with just a small modification of the already released DAC Mk.I kit), IBG – 72099 – 3Ro Italian Truck With 100/17 100mm Howitzer (Cassone 2) (again a small modification of a previous kit, IBG – 72098 – 3Ro Italian Truck with 100/17 100mm Howitzer in this case) and finally IBG – 72106 – Scammell Pioneer Tank Transporter With TRCU30 Tank Trailer And Crusader Mk.I/II Tank, which is a combination of two previous kits.
Amongst other updates that we’ll add soon, Revell is releasing Revell – 03355 – Leopard 2A7V, a further develop of their 2011 tooled A6 Kit.

Flyhawk has entered this year in the business of the Panzer IV in 1/72 scale with two releases, Flyhawk – 3025 – German PzKpfw IV Ausf.F2/G Medium Tank and Flyhawk – 3026 – German PzKpfw IV Ausf.F1 Medium tank.
Vespid Models is about to release Vespid – VS720026 – T-90A Russian Main Battle Tank, which will delight contemporary tanks fans and those in particular looking to reproduce some model inspired in the ongoing war in Ukraine.
Meng brings a new 1/72 scale model with the release of Meng – 72-005 – US Army Infantry Fighting Vehicle M2A3 Bradley w/ BUSK III. The kit, expected for January 2025, will compete with the good and contrasted Dragon – 7678 – M2A3 Bradley BUSK III.
RPG-Model adds a third Tiger-M armored car announcing RPG-Model – 72005 – GAZ-233114 Tiger-M Defense Drone Special Operations Model, based in their previous kit adds new 3D printed parts and some new PE parts for this specific version presented in 2022.

Has been long since ACE released their last 1/72 kit, but the brand announced ACE – 72593 – WC-43 (T 215) Telephone installation and maintenance 1/2 ton truck which should be available soon.
3R Model / Transform announced two kits, both variants of the Stryker family, the first one added is 3R Model / Transform – TK 7014 – M1130 Stryker CV & CV-TACP, a double set with two full models that can be built either CV or CV-TACP. And speaking about Stryker, Trumpeter is also updating their line announcing Trumpeter – 07422 – M1127 Stryker Reconnaissance Vehicle (RV).
Trumpeter also announced Trumpeter – 07442 – LAV-150 APC 90mm Mecar Gun, another Cadillac Gage Commando vehicle.
T-Model, a brand who has reactivated this year, is releasing T-Model – TK7317 – M1097 AN/TWQ-1 Avenger Early Version, a based on their initial kit from 2017 T-Model – TM-7201 – U.S. Modern M1114.
Next IBG Models batch is hitting stores already, there are several new 1/72 kits to add, we started today by adding IBG Models – 72112 – FV4101 Charioteer Mk.VIIA British Tank. Also added IBG Models – 72127 – Semovente M40 da 75/18, based on the previous M13/40 Italian Tank and extending their excellent Italian WWII range in 1/72 scale.

Revell brings back the incredible Type IX C submarine kit updated to “Platinum Edition” with the release of Revell – 05180 – German Submarine Type IX C (U505) “Platinum Edition”. Tooled in 2013 this new release complemented with wooden, metal and photo etched parts upgrades the quality of the model as well as its complexity, turning it into an 800 parts kit not suitable for everyone.

Excellent news with three releases by Strelets to finish the year, by now we added Strelets – M160 – Seminole Warriors and Strelets – M161 – US Volunteers (Seminole Wars), both devoted to Seminole Wars, depicted for first time in 1/72 scale. The third release, Strelets – 262 – Bavarian Infantry Shooting Line (War of Spanish Succession 1701-1714), continues expanding the wonderful range of the War of the Spanish Succession.
Equally excellent, is the last HäT release of the year, HÄT – 8342 – AWI American Infantry, a big box set with 96 figures for a subject not so well covered as it deserves.

Last update of the year for the Armored Core topic, Kotobukiya is reissuing all their range for the video game franchise and we updated several of the models as well as added some more, expected to be reissued during 2025. Still 8 references at least pending to be added, and according to our records there is some other models suitable of be reissued. The brand did an excellent coverage of the topic during nearly a decade and all the models are being bring back now.
