Playsets

2024-10-31

To close the month, we just added Italeri – 6186 – Bastogne Siege 80 Years (Battle Set), a new battle-set by Italeri, composed as usually of some of their figures, vehicles and a MDF building to complete the set. This kind of products still have their fans, though we feel they don’t add so much value and while we loved the ESCI playsets in our childhood, we don’t feel the same with this later Italeri issues. The Italian brand released their last original figure set in 2014, ten years ago, and that figures are included in this last playset, the German in winter uniform. A decade without new Italeri figures in 1/72 scale is a well sign of the state of this particular hobby.
