June is well advanced now and we add our first wave of updates in the aircraft section with three new Italeri releases, Italeri – 1486 – AW101 Merlin HM.1, Italeri – 1481 – MC.202 Folgore Aces and Italeri – 90023 – Mirage 2000 B/D.
Revell is about to release some interesting models, as the combo box Revell – 03766 – Battle of Britain 85th Anniversary Set or the really nice Revell – 03777 – Focke-Wulf Fw 200 C-5/C-8 Condor, a kit not seen since 2006. The German brand has more interesting coming kits that we’ll add soon to our listings.
Amodel is releasing a new variant of the Diamond DA42 Twin Star, the Amodel – 72400 – Da-42 L-360.

Hasegawa adds a new marking to their F-16C kit releasing Hasegawa – 02495 – F-16C Block 52 Fighting Falcon “Thunderbirds”. The brand is releasing this month also Hasegawa – 02494 – Hugisho P1Y1 (Frances) Type 11 “Yokosuka Flying Group” w/Torpedo.

Arma Hobby is releasing a multi-purpose accessories set aimed to provide with some U.S. WWII (and Korean War) generic bombs, that can be fitted to a good number of aircrafts, find more details in the product page Arma Hobby – 70076 – U.S. Bombs WWII/Korean War. This small but useful sets are always welcome by modelers. Maybe more interesting for some, is the release of Arma Hobby – 70075 – P-51B Mustang China/Burma/India.

Special Hobby brings back two kits not seen in a while, and updated with 3D printed parts. The kits are Special Hobby – VT72002 – Focke Wulf Fw 187A-0 Falke and Special Hobby – SH72511 – DC-2 “Transport Revolution”.

Just added IBG – 72577 – Gotha Go 244B-1 German Transport Aircraft, the second IBG release in the exceptional Gotha Go 242/Gotha Go 244 series. IBG also has added IBG – 72537 – Focke-Wulf Fw 190D-9 Mimetall (Broad Tail) to their large series of Focke-Wulf Fw 190D kits started in 2021.
Sword reissues two 2013 kits updating decal sheets. They are Sword – SW72152 – Aichi B7A2 Grace and Sword – SW72153 – Nakajima C6N1 Myrt.
Big Plane Kits has released Big Planes Kits – BPK7229 – 737-700 Southwest, an update with new decal sheet of their Boeing 737 line. We also update the cover image for Big Planes Kits – 7223 – Poseidon P-8A with AN/APS-154 AAS.
Clear Prop has released two heart breaking kits, two super-detailed Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-19 kits with options for P and PM variants and a good selection of markings including Cuban in the P variant, a very beautiful topic. The kits Clear Prop Models – CP72057 – MiG-19PM (Advanced Kit) and Clear Prop Models – CP72056 – MiG-19P (Advanced Kit) breaks again the limit of detail in 1/72 scale (also a high price) and stands out as the best MiG-19s you can find in the small scale.
Armory has released Armory – 72012 – MiG-3 Late Production “Winter Air Defence”, basically updating their previous kits with a new decal sheet and 3D printed parts.

Eduard brings Eduard – 2152 – Tales of Iwojima DUAL COMBO, another luxury dual package with two full models inside. This is the only June release by Eduard in 1/72 scale.
Has been a while since Amodel released their last atomic/thermonuclear bomb, but now the brand is releasing Amodel – NA72006 – RDS-6s/RDS-27 (Soviet hydrogen bomb), which depicts the first Soviet Hydrogen bomb and an important milestone in their nuclear development during 50s.
Modelsvit has revamped the Antonov An-124 “Ruslan” kit released in 2011 with new parts and decal sheet, focused in more recent Ukrainian markings. The new version of the kit is released as Modelsvit – 7202 – An-124 “Ruslan” Strategic Airlift.

Excellent news by Strelets releasing a new batch of figure sets, including two new additions for the War of the Spanish Succession line. The sets are Strelets – 265 – Dutch Infantry 1701-1714 Firing Line and Strelets – 269 – Holy Roman Empire Grenadiers 1701-1714. Soon we’ll add the remaining sets in the batch.

Border Model is releasing another Initial Tiger I, Border Model – TK 7204 – Tiger I Initial s.Pz.Abt. 502 September 1942 with two markings for the s.Pz.Abt. 502.

Ukrainian Models Military Technics (UMMT) is releasing UMMT – 710 – Sapper (bridge) tank ST-26, reusing chassis from previous T-26 related kits.

Added a trio of small S-Model kits, S-Model – SP072026 – TOW Missile (3 Pieces) (3D Printed), S-Model – SP072027 – UE with MG34 (1+1) and S-Model – SP072014 – R35 Light tank with FCM36 Turret.
Also added today a couple of First to Fight (Wrzesień 1939) kits which extend the French WWII options, adding First to Fight – 119 – French Tank Renault R40 with a 37 mm SA38 cannon and First to Fight – 118 – French Light Reconnaissance tank AMR 35 ZT2.
ICM makes an economic release with ICM – 72821 – ZіL-131 AFU with DShKM, adding just the DShKM piece (and plinth) to their existing ZiL-131 kit.

Filling our gap in the ACE listing with three new nice additions, ACE – 72596 – WC-18 1/2 ton 4×4 Ambulance truck, ACE – 72597 – WC-17(26) 1/2 ton 4×4 carryall, they both boosting the Dodge WC series and ACE – 72599 – B-4 203mm Stalin’s Sledgehammer which completes the heavy siege Soviet guns series together with BR-2 and BR-5 guns previously released.

A not usual release in the IBG catalogue is the new IBG – 72166 – Pz.Kpfw. II Ausf. b with Fuel Trailer (Limited Edition), based on the 2018 kit IBG (The World At War) – WAW007 (W-007) – Panzerkampfwagen II Ausf.b but featuring new 3D printed parts for the fuel trailer and some other details. This is a small and straight forward to build kit with a good an interesting quality.
Armory releases by pairs a nice couple of new kits. They are Armory – 72451 – KrAZ-257B Soviet 6×4 heavy truck w/ cargo body and Armory – 72450 – KrAZ-255B Soviet 6×6 heavy truck w/ cargo body. The brand has released also some after-market kits to enhance the models.

Hasegawa doesn’t stop updating their Macross line, the release of Hasegawa – 65893 – VF-19EF/A Battroid Isamu Special “Macross Frontier” includes some new tooled parts and reuses the recently released Hasegawa – 33 – YF-19 Battroid (Macross Plus) body.
